Industrial Visits Program
Industrial visits provide Electronics and Communication Engineering students with valuable exposure to real-world industrial environments, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical applications. By observing live processes, advanced technologies, and modern equipment in industries such as telecommunications, semiconductor manufacturing, embedded systems, automation, broadcasting, and electronics product development, students gain a deeper understanding of how theoretical concepts are applied in practice.
These visits help students relate classroom learning to industry practices, enhance their technical awareness, and develop insights into current trends, challenges, and innovations in the field of electronics and communication. Industrial visits also promote professional interaction with industry experts, instill teamwork and discipline, and motivate students toward research, innovation, employability, and entrepreneurship.
3-Day Industrial Visit: West Coast Paper Mills Ltd. and Kalinadi Hydroelectric Project SUPA DAM, Dandeli
This industrial visit provided students with hands-on exposure to advanced manufacturing processes and power generation technologies. Students witnessed paper production processes at West Coast Paper Mills and learned about hydroelectric power generation at the Kalinadi SUPA DAM, gaining valuable insights into industrial operations and sustainable energy practices.
