Dean's Message

Welcome to the Faculty of Science at GM University. I am delighted to serve as the Director of the Faculty and collaborate with a dedicated team of academic and support staff committed to education and teaching, fostering a new generation of professionals. Our faculty offers degree programs in Basic Science with a practical, applied orientation. The School of Science encompasses departments in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Food Science and Technology. We are dedicated to producing a substantial number of graduates who actively contribute to the nation's economic growth. Beyond imparting professional knowledge and practical skills, our goal is to enhance students' communication, problem-solving, and professionalism for the workplace. Our programs facilitate connections with professional bodies and industry, providing students with real-life work experience and opportunities to network with potential employers and industry leaders. Research within the Faculty of Science is driven by the scientific interests of individual researchers, resulting in a diverse range of research subject areas. This diversity is a notable strength of our faculty.
