A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances are shared with the community. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed by each organizing team. The goal of TEDx is to inspire a passion for spreading ideas in local communities from within. It lacks any commercial, religious or political agenda. Its goal is to spark conversation, connection and community.

In the ever-evolving landscape of higher education, TEDx programs have emerged as a catalyst for intellectual stimulation, innovation, and community engagement within college campuses worldwide. These independently organized events, licensed by TED, have become a cornerstone of educational enrichment, offering a platform for students, faculty, and experts to share groundbreaking ideas, foster dialogue, and ignite a passion for lifelong learning. The importance of having TEDx programs in college extends far beyond a mere event; it encapsulates a culture of curiosity, inspiration, and empowerment. They serve as dynamic hubs that foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and inspiration. By exposing individuals to diverse ideas, nurturing community engagement, and empowering personal growth, TEDx events have become an integral part of the educational landscape, shaping the leaders, innovators, and change makers of tomorrow.
