Aim & Summary

The aim of the course is a digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of a building or infrastructure. It goes beyond traditional 2D drawings by incorporating 3D models, data, and collaborative processes. BIM enables stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, and contractors, to work together in a unified platform, improving communication and coordination throughout the entire construction life cycle. It can enhance efficacy, reduce errors, and provide valuable insights for better decision- making in design, construction and facility management. It facilitates the design, documentation and collaboration of mechanical, electrical and plumbing system in building projects, its widely used for designing and coordinating HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning), electrical, and plumbing system in building projects, helping to streamline workflows and improve overall project efficiency.
