GMU - Overview

GM University is located on a 57-acre green and serene campus on Poona-Bangalore Highway adjoining to District Commissioner’s office in Davanagere. At GMU Engineering, Pharmacy, Commerce, Management, Computer Application, IT, Basic Sciences, Applied Sciences, Legal Studies programs are available for study. In addition to the degree programs mentioned, B. Voc-Programs, Diploma programs in Engineering and Pharmacy are also available. The programs are offered by respective faculties/Schools/Departments and degrees are awarded by GM University. At present, there are more than 5000 students studying Engineering, Pharmacy, Basic and Applied Sciences, and Diploma programs. The University has an excellent track record in student placements data of which is available on our website. A significant number of students bag a package of Rs. 10 lakhs+. On-campus separate hostels for boys and girls are available. GMU has transport facilities for day-Scholars.
Students who have completed Karnataka State PUC or CBSE or ICSE or Open Schooling programs of 2 years duration after 10 years of Schooling are eligible for admission into our degree programs. About 40% of seats in engineering and MBA programs are filled through KEA conducted CET and PGCET.
