Dean 's Message
Welcome to the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology! Computer Science and Computer Applications stand
as the keystones of our modern world, reshaping it in profound ways. Our programs - BCA/MCA and BSc/MSc in
Computer Science/Computer Applications with diverse specializations - are crafted to meet the demands of a
rapidly evolving technological landscape, offering pathways to global career opportunities.
In today's interconnected realm, multinational companies seek expertise in computer science and IT to drive
their operations worldwide. Our curriculum emphasizes Data Science, Digital Marketing, Cyber Security, and Cloud
Computing. It's designed to cultivate professionals capable of securing IT infrastructure, networks, and data,
ensuring optimal outcomes.
Digital Marketing, an integral part of this program, spans a spectrum of online channels and strategies,
continually evolving to engage audiences and promote brands. We foster holistic student development through
mini-projects, industry interactions, cultural and social activities.
Choosing Computer Science or Computer Applications with specialized tracks offers numerous benefits: flexibility
in career choices, hands-on experience with current technologies, and diverse employment opportunities in both
public and private sectors. Graduates acquire critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, priming them for
roles in banking, e-commerce, IT, entertainment, and beyond.
Our curriculum is designed to address local, regional, national, and global development needs, emphasizing
employability, entrepreneurship, and ethical considerations. Students benefit from a rich learning environment,
extensive infrastructure, and guidance from experienced faculty.
