Aim & Summary

Computer aided land survey (CALS) involves using computer technology to assist in land surveying, Irrigation Engineering and corridor design process.it employs software and digital tools to enhance accuracy ,efficiency and precision in mapping and measuring land features. CALS integrates data from various sources, aiding surveyors in creating detailed and reliable land surveys for construction, development and mapping purpose. This course will cover the overview about AutoCAD civil 3D for basic road design and land surveying.

Course Content
Week 1 Introduction about Land survey/AutoCAD civil 3D
Week 2 Point creation and working with points.
Week 3 Import points from various applications
Week 4 Hands-on. Tool Test 1

QUIZ 1

Week 5 Surface creation.
Week 6 Importing Survey data from Total station, LiDAR, DEM.
Week 7 Surface style.
Week 8 Surface analysis. Tool Test 2

QUIZ 2

Week 9 Earth work calculation.
Week 10 Parcel Creation.
Week 11 Parcel from Layout.
Week 12 Hands-on

PROJECT REPORT

Course Certification

Certificate will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam with the breakup. It will have the logos of GMU and company handling the course.
