GM University Quality Policy


Preamble:

GM University is committed to achieving excellence in education, research, innovation, and societal engagement. The University strives to transform society through knowledge dissemination, skill development, creativity, entrepreneurship, and holistic development of students and scholars. Our Quality Policy provides a structured approach to ensure continuous improvement, accountability, and alignment with our Vision, Mission, Values, and Objectives.

GM University aims to have a transformative impact on society through continual innovation in education, research, skill development, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

2. Mission

  • Disseminate knowledge and conduct research across diverse academic areas, including science, engineering, commerce, management, health, humanities, social sciences, and legal studies, with a learner-centric approach.
  • Teach skills essential for personal and professional growth: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, technical and digital literacy, flexibility, cultural values, leadership, and responsibility.

5. Quality Policy Statement

GM University is committed to:

  • Embedding a culture of continuous quality improvement across academic, research, and administrative processes.
  • Monitoring and evaluating performance using clearly defined metrics for teaching, research, innovation, student outcomes, and societal impact.
  • Engaging all stakeholders — students, faculty, alumni, employers, and community members — in feedback, assessment, and quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, including NAAC, NBA, UGC, AICTE, and other national and international bodies.
  • Promoting innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty to contribute meaningfully to society and industry.
  • Adhering to ethical, sustainable, and transparent practices in all university operations.

6. Implementation and Review

  • The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) shall oversee the operationalization, monitoring, and continuous improvement of this Quality Policy.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) shall measure outcomes in teaching, research, innovation, student achievements, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • The policy shall be reviewed annually and updated to align with evolving educational standards, industry requirements, and societal needs.
