Mission

The School of Vocational Training Centre shall:

1. Provide quality, competency-based vocational training aligned with industry requirements and emerging technologies.
2. Enhance employability and entrepreneurship by equipping learners with practical, job-oriented and market-relevant skills.
3. Promote hands-on learning and experiential training through modern laboratories, workshops, simulations and industry exposure.
4. Develop skilled human resources to meet the workforce requirements of local, regional and national industries.
5. Encourage self-employment and entrepreneurship by supporting learners in developing viable skills-based enterprises and start-ups.
6. Offer flexible and accessible training programmes for students, youth, working professionals and other sections of society through Community Development Programs.
7. Strengthen industry–institution collaboration through internships, apprenticeships, expert training, certification and placement opportunities.
8. Promote continuous upskilling and reskilling in emerging sectors and technologies to support lifelong learning.
9. Integrate professional, technical and soft skills including communication, teamwork, digital literacy, workplace ethics and problem-solving.
10. Contribute to inclusive socio-economic development by creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods and skill-based employment.
